This summer the Larger Than Life Houston community welcomed brave Israeli children who taught us that cancer doesn’t care that it’s summer and that a child deserves to be making childhood memories. This summer these children taught us just how powerful they are, how strong their desire is to live, and how important it is to feel at home, even if you are so far away from your real home.
Thanks to Rinat Alatin, who coordinates the Larger Than Life’s activities in Houston, and to all our amazing volunteers who prepare homemade food baskets and deliver them to the families with a warm embrace. Thank you for hosting the kids and taking them on special fun days, making all their wishes and dreams come true.
