More than 20 people came to a special meeting at Shuly and Alon Kaplun from New York with one goal: helping and supporting families who arrive to the big city with children for treatments or surgeries for a short period of time. These families need to feel home away from home. Most of them need help with accommodation, food, transportation, translation, warm clothes during winter, toys for sick children and mainly someone who will support them emotionally during their stay. That is the reason Shuly created FRIENDS FOR LIFE – for Larger Than Life families. It was a great meeting, and we thank the Kaplun family for opening their house and heart.
